 Beetroot and Paneer Tikki  by Sunita Roy



  • Steam one large beetroot until it is thoroughly cooked.
  • After steaming and allowing it to cool, grate the beetroot and combine it with 200g of paneer.
  • Incorporate one boiled potato into the mixture, and mash the beetroot, paneer, and potato together.

4. To the mixture, add:

    • Half a cup of oat powder
    • 1 tablespoon of garam masala
    • 1 teaspoon of chaat masala powder
    • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
    • Finely chopped coriander
    • Half a finely chopped onion
    • 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts

5. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

6. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into tikki.

7. Lightly pan-fry each tikki until golden.

Serve with a yogurt dip for a delicious accompaniment.
